I have a picky nose. It doesn’t
like some scents and doesn’t like to be
covered or have weight on it.
SO, finding an eye pillow was tough.
I decided to make my own and in time it got dirty (imagine
that!) from dust, skin oils and make-up. I thought “it
sure would be nice to be able to wash this thing!” But,
of course, it was sealed to keep the filler in so I couldn’t.
And then it hit me!
Why not
make a
cover that
COULD
be washed?
AND since I figured I couldn’t
be the only one with this problem, I thought other people might
like it, too!
Viola! The perfect eye pillow!
You can hand wash the cover.
You can add whatever scent you
want to the cover… or leave it unscented.
You can freeze the filler pouch.
(Put it in a plastic baggie and DON’T add water)
You can heat the filler pouch.
(Use a microwave oven… test it first to see how long
it takes - it will vary by machine. Handle with Care!)
